tiempos basicos
TIEMPOS
1 Present Continuous
I am (I'm) working
She is not (isn´t)working
Is she working?
2 Present Tense
I am (I'm) a student
I am (I'm) not a student
They don't work hard
*She doesn't live here
Am I a student?
Do you study?
Does she live here?
She, He and It" hay que agregar una "s" o "es" al final del verbo.
Estructura negación: Sujeto + do not (don't)/does not (doesn´t) + verbo principal en infinitivo siempre. (*Cuidado: NO poner la "s" o "es" para la tercera persona)
Con el verbo "to be" nunca se utiliza el verbo auxiliar "do" para negar o preguntar.
Para negar y preguntar en presente se utiliza el verbo auxiliar "DO" [du] o "DOES"[das].
3 Past Tense
To be was were
I was a student
I woke up at seven o'clock yesterday
You were not (weren't) here
They didn't work hard
She didn't live here
: Did+ sujeto + verbo siempre en infinitivo + predicado
Was he my friend?
Did you study?
Did she live here?
Para negar y preguntar en pasado se utiliza el verbo auxiliar "Did" [dId] para todas las personas.

5 Present Perfect

El verbo "have/has" no significa en este caso "tener" sino "haber"
Has she worked today?
She has not (She hasn´t)worked
confusión entre "Simple Past" y el "Present Perfect." Recuerda: "Simple Past" para pasado lejano, acabado, acompañado generalmente de "yesterday" (ayer), "last week/month/year" (la semana/mes/año pasado).
El "Present Perfect" en cambio es para un pasado reciente y no suele acompañarse de referencias temporales, aunque puede aparecer, por ejemplo, con "today", "recently", etc.
